Bird Houses by David Anderson

Dave Anderson

Dave Anderson is at the woodshop at least five hours a day, seven days a week. It’s a labor of love for him, creating products to sell at the Holmstad Bazaar, repairing furniture, and making items needed by the Holmstad, such as salt storage boxes.  Dave and his wife, Merrie, have lived at Covenant Living at the Holmstad for seven years and many residents and staff depend on Dave to solve their woodworking problems. Dave will be in the Bazaar’s Wood Shop on October 1.

Hummingbird Houses

A lot of hummingbirds have been making the Fox Valley their home in recent years. Dave Anderson has created specialized birch log hummingbird houses to provide a place for them to nest. The top of each house can be removed to clean it out.

Easy-to-View Bird Houses

Dave Anderson’s bird houses are designed to attach to a window in your home. They have a hole cut into the back so that you can watch the nest and baby birds. They are made of pine and oak with a long-lasting outdoor finish and a roof that can be removed for clean out.  The two large suction cups are sturdy. The viewing window is covered with clear acrylic.
