Lovely Jewelry to Enhance Your Style on a Budget

Check out the Jewelry Shop on Saturday, September 21 from 9 am-3 pm

Shoppers are always anxious to see what interesting pieces of jewelry we have each year, so they hurry to this shop. You’ll find hundreds of women’s earrings, necklaces, rings, pins, and bracelets that are priced to sell.  There are seasonal pieces and jars of jewelry that could be used by crafters or for children’s sorting and dress-up fun. The jewelry is in good condition, some are new. All were donated by residents and friends.

A resident donated Kazuri necklaces hand crafted near Nairobi Kenya. They are Fair Trade Certified and Kazuri is a member of the World Fair Trade Organization:

The following is a gaudy set begging to be used in a high school or community theatre production, for a Halloween costume, etc. Check it out!

All 18 of the quart jars of “jewelry junk” were snapped up last year. Teachers use them to teach kids to sort groups (by type, color, etc.) Parents buy them for kids’ dress-up fun and crafters find all sorts of things in them to use in their creations.
